Highly recommended.

Great hotel, comfortable and clean. They staff were friendly and attentive. They allowed us to check in early at not extra charge. I would stay here again. For me the location was perfect though is not that close to city center. I would stay here again.

The sidewalk in front of the hotel is under cunstruction, so it is a bit inconvenient, but not a big deal. The noise level is acceptable, but if you have a light sleep, take it into consideration. Of course, this is only temporary. I liked the decoration of the lobby, but I’m not a fan of the decoration of the halls. It’s conveniently located in front of the train station, so if you’re planning to use the train, it’s the best location. It is about 20 - 30 minutes away (walking) from Madrid center, so if you don’t mind a bit of walking, then it’s OK.

Friendly staff! Mercedes at the concierge desk was extremely helpful.The surrounding area is currently under construction but a minor nuisance. Great convenience to have the train station across the street!

Under normal circumstances, I would have given OnlyYou Atocha an excellent review, as everything about the hotel and staff was top-notch. But my most recent stay there was anything but normal: It coincided with the countrywide power outage in Spain. And the hotel turned out to be the perfect refuge. A backup generator kept the power on, the lobby was turned into a full-service restaurant for stranded guests, and the staff was eager to help in any way they could. They even quickly booked me an extra night when it looked like my flight home was going fro be cancelled. Very grateful to have been here during that trying time.

Second time at this hotel. Thoughtfully designed rooms, very comfortable, generous breakfast for all tastes, friendly staff, and very walkable to Madrid’s main museums. Although it overlooks the busy intersections across from the train station, no noise whatever.
