Excellent location, beautiful hotel, lovely room. One female staff member at reception was particularly wonderful, wish I knew her name. We were given an upgraded room at no extra charge. Large breakfast buffet but pricey. Couldn’t use the rooftop lounge area due to weather and construction.

The Emperador is in a great location on the Gran Via. Walkable to attractions, shopping & fantastic restaurants. Our room was upgraded to a stunning suite with amazing views of the Gran Via. The room was very large and was extremely comfortable with a huge sitting area, a free standing soaker tub & separate shower. We enjoyed drinks in the lobby lounge before heading out for a fantastic dinner at a nearby restaurant. We didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop bar due to bad weather but it looked like it would have been great. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Madrid.
