Mattress was uncomfortable. It does not match a great hotel such as the Emperador. Same goes for lack of light in the bathroom area. As for the rest, this hotel is a beautiful, well loccated property with an excellent staff.

Superb service from check in to departure. Everyone friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooftop pool always spotless clean. Great waiting staff by pool. Good food for lunch and snacks. A little noisy at night from sirens from emergency services but then our room did overlook the main road. However, all the staff we encountered were most polite and helpful. A very good buffet breakfast. As we booked thru Expedia our room was upgraded. The rooftop pool/ sunbathing area was excellent with far reaching views of Madrid. A good stay.
