The carpet in our room was ripped and the shower had what looked like black mould and very dirty/calcuim buildnup on the shower heads. I asked for a safety pin or sewing kit because i had a wardrobe malfunction and they didnt have anything, even for sale. Id expect better attention to those details for the price point.

Good - Central to downtown. Bad - double charged me for parking - had to pay everytime I left parking garage and discovered an extra charge on my bill afterwards. Should have doublechecked my bill when checking out at 3AM. Bad - electrical plug issues. Could not plug devices in and get a good connection. Plugs kept falling out.

Impossible to sleep due to the noise from the mini fridge. The bed was not comfortable. I was at the hotel for less than 10 hours for one reason -- to sleep. And I couldn't sleep because of a noisy, unnecessary appliance and an uncomfortable bed. So what am I paying for?

Excellent Service

We stayed at this local Waterloo hotel during our recent visit to the area during our vacation. The hotel is a bit older, but nicely renovated. Close to restaurants and shops. The full time bartender was phenomenal! He went out of his way to provide us with excellent service, especially during the weekday happy hour. Reasonable price and good hotel restaurant food. We would likely stay here again if ever in the area.

The layout was incredibly difficult to find our room, we had to walk through and active wedding party where the food was stationed in the hallway we needed to walk through to get to our room. Parking was non-existet due to the wedding and we had to park in a remote parking lot that was under construction and was full. I eventually moved some construction barriers to create a spot Our room was right on the hallway that the wedding party was using and the music was very loud late into the night - again the layout of the hotel is not good for sleeping guestes and large parties.
