Palace Backpackers Memorial was created in memory of an important time in the area's past, so it's an interesting place to reflect. You'll be able to leave your backpack at the Avocado Motor Inn and just saunter on over. Keep in mind that this is the only accomodation option nearby, so dibs that room ASAP!
