Great location, very clean. The staff was professional and helpful. Nice view of the river and the dragon bridge.

The Metropole is quite simply old world chic! The staff are amazing, everything is amazing. Be prepared to pay for dining and drinks but the quality of the food and service is well worth the treat. The room we had was in the heritage building and I think they called it a luxury suite. Quite small but the bed was super comfy and the size of the room was adequate.

The best breakfast ever!

Had a great couple of nights here. I arrived early but was lucky and a room was available. The absolute best part of my room was the view! It was fantastic as it looked over to the marina. The mini bar is free as is the snack and the bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was serviceable. Very good buffet breakfast and lunch, the food was good and varied. Lunch was a reasonable price. Had a drink in the Propellor Bar which has great views - staff are lovely all throughout the property. I’d happily stay here again.
