This hotel is a pure gem we loved this and was sad to leave. From the moment we set foot into this hotel we were looked after and they could not do enough for us even give us 2 young girls as tour guides who took us around and showed us the sites where to eat and drink anything we wanted they took us and such lovely girls. We only had breakfast which was spoilt for choice was that nice and our room was amazing could not have picked a better hotel so happy and would return here next time we visit.

Our room was very spacious and very clean, location is excellent and there is a great choice of food for breakfast. Reception very helpful for booking tours around the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

First, they talked me into a taxi service from the airport to "avoid long waits or scams." BUT the taxi driver was 40 minutes late. I had to contact the property through Expedia and luckily they eventually saw the message and called the driver. Second, the pictures on Expedia make the place look great but it is very deceiving. The place is dirty and old. Third, they informed us at check in they no longer offer breakfast and we would have to go to a sister property. After searching for 30 minutes, I finally found the place and they turned me away as I was not staying at that property. Now, I'm sure I could have gone back to the lotus hotel and explain the situation and they surely would have fixed it, but I had a tour to catch. What a pain. I would definitely stay away from this place. Also something to note, the front desk lady at check in was trying very hard to get us to book another night saying "if you book right now, and not through Expedia I will give you a really good deal, but the price goes up soon if you don't except." But she never gave me a price. The whole thing was scammy.

The staff are amazing,great service, served as a base for our stay in northern vietnam and nothing was a problem for them. Rooms are clean, and the deluxe room is worth the extra money. The service alone was worth every penny.

Staff here were all very nice and helpful. Even when we already checked out traveling to other spots like Sapa and Ha Long Bay and came back here as a spot to transit for the next stop, staff of the hotel welcomed us to go into the lobby even though we were not checking in that day, offered us a free shower and even treated us the breakfast. We were surprised but deeply touched seeing how warm and friendly people here. We highly recommend Lotus boutique Hotel to all travelers who are visiting Hanoi!

Great place. Excellent and very amicable service, very comfortable rooms and convenient location in the old quarter. They even had the courtesy to give a complimentary cake to my friend for its birthday. Great place to stay in a city where good accommodation doesn't come easy.
