It was great being able to stay within the theme park, the atmosphere and activities after dark were fun without the huge crowds since the lifts were closed. However the room is pretty poor, especially as a Mercure property. There is zero insulation and noise proofing. You could hear EVERYTHING both outside the hotel and into the hallways. We got very little sleep. Also the shower in the bathroom was just a showerhead into the room itself, so when you shower, the whole bathroom gets soaked. So if you wanted to use the toilet after anyone had showered, everything is drenched.

The walls in the room are paper thin, I can hear clearly into the adjacent rooms and the hallways. That means screaming kids and all while you’re tying to sleep. However, the location is pretty much where you want it to be. I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night specially if you’ve gone to a lot theme parks in your life. Ba Na Hills felt just like that. Not saying it’s a bad thing but for someone who’s been to theme parks a lot, traveling to Vietnam and being in a theme park may not be what you’re looking for. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful place and a must go.

All excellent except for the check out process. I handed over the key and was told to wait 10 minutes while they check the room to finalize the check out. After 35 minutes of waiting I had to come up to check and was told everything is good. Either they forgot about me or they need to get a better system. Guests should not have to wait 30+ minutes to check out.

Our stay at Hotel de Paris had both highlights and disappointments. The room itself was nice, featuring windows that opened to provide fresh air and some glimpses of the park. The facilities were good and housekeeping maintained the room to a satisfactory standard. However, our experience was significantly impacted by noise issues. Throughout our stay, we encountered disruptive sounds from the corridors, neighboring rooms, and the floor above, which resulted in poor sleep quality during the nights. The breakfast buffet was served from 6:30 to 9:30am with reasonable options available. While the location and room amenities had appeal, the noise factor was a major drawback to our overall experience. For future visits, we would consider exploring different room types or alternative accommodation options within the hotel to potentially avoid similar issues.

Staying in this hotel was an incredible experience for us because of its location and architecture that makes you feel like royalty in a castle. Being a guest at this hotel comes with some unique perks, like early access to the famous “golden bridge” and VIP pass to skip the long lines to the cable car. I only wish we had been able to stay longer at this beautiful hotel.

A lot of potential but..

The property looks stunning from the outside and the ambience around the village is amazing — but sadly, the hotel experience itself is far from premium. Check-in was painfully slow. At the bottom of the hill only three counters were open despite the crowds, and staff seemed inexperienced. Hotel & Facilities: While the exterior is beautiful, the property is dated and poorly maintained. Common areas, especially toilets, were dirty, smelly, and broken — not what you expect from a “premium” hotel. Rooms: The bathroom has no real divider, so sound and smell carry through, and with no ventilation, odors linger. Poor design for the price paid. Food & Dining: Easily the weakest part. The menu is very limited, especially at night, and what’s served often looks nothing like the pictures (see the Margherita pizza). Vegetarians get maybe three options, and staff won’t accommodate more. Everything is overpriced. The red velvet cake was the worst I’ve eaten — shocking for a French brand like Mercure/Accor. Breakfast was equally bad: the restaurant smelled, the spread was low quality, hash browns tasteless, toast not properly done, coffee lousy, and the “vegetarian corner” inedible. Staff & Service: Most staff were unfriendly, and some outright rude. Restaurant staff especially seemed untrained. Plenty of people, but no service. Overall, the property has so much potential, but Mercure is running it poorly. For the price, the experience is disappointing and nowhere near premium.

Check in staff was rude upon receiving room. No staff member in assigned building to ask for help. Felt lost and spaceless throughout the entire process. The buss boys were super nice but those checkin girls and check out were rude particularly this one chic.
