We liked the super clean facility. Great option for kids. Spacious rooms. Great location. Service could have been improved. Staff were not keen on helping and generally very slow and inattentive. Eg: we waitied over 30 minutes for a beer at the bar while it wasnt busy. I had to wait hours to get money exchanged. I would stay here again, however would be more inclined if the services was better.

Beach Getaway

Had a one week stay at this hotel in a corner suite. The views were amazing--especially from the soaker bathtub. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with loads of both Western and Vietnamese options. The staff were very attentive and made sure to check in with us to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent with the beach directly across the street. It was also within walking distance to the Dragon Bridge and lots of restaurants. The airport shuttle was a nice bonus and they even gave us a parting gift at checkout! Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are great, big, clean, spacious… but there’s something about this hotel which feels cold and not welcoming… it’s missing a hommy feel, the breakfast had limited choices, the staff was not as friendly as other hotels… we stayed at 6 hotels on our trip… All in same price range, this one was by far one of most not welcoming…. Definitely not coming back.

Good Hotel - Excellent Views

It's a nice hotel overall but not as luxurious as I expected. The hotel is a bit older but the room and pool were sufficiently clean and comfortable. The ocean views were fantastic and the convenient walk across to the beach was a huge plus.

The hotel looks great in the online photos but close up its very tired. We had a really big room but again a bit tired inside, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed from the day we went in until we left, the internet in our room was very slow and the carpets in most of the hallways we went down were very heavily stained and dirty. The breakfast was very average (we had stayed in 4 other hotels in various parts of Vietnam and all the breakfasts we had were very good). The upstairs rooftop bar was set up like a private night club so not really accessible for hotel guests, we were only guided to 6 bar stools and the prices were very high. We paid a lot of money for a 3 night stay and it certainly wasn’t worth the money we paid and I think the 5 star rating of the hotel is very generous it’s hovering between 3 and 4 stars

My negative review is due to a fundamental misrepresentation the hotel made about the Sky Bar on its premises. A listing in its in-room information package about food and drink options says guests can dance the night away and enjoy fantastic views in the Sky Bar. As a result we went there on our first night to enjoy this amenity. However after scouting out the various open tables a woman manager interjected that we could not sit at any of the tables unless we brought a bottle of whiskey. I asked her if they served food and she showed me a menu. After looking at the menu and asking where we could sit to eat she again said very rudely that we could not sit at a table unless we bought a bottle of whiskey. I asked her why as a hotel guest we could not sit at a table. She replied, again very rudely, that the sky bar was not part of the hotel. I was stunned in light of the fact that the hotel touted the bar as an amenity in its information package and did not disclose that it was not affiliated with the hotel and the expensive requirement to be able to use it.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed and in a fantastic location. Perfect combination of city life/action and beach or pool relaxation. The staff is exceptional, kind and welcoming. Even let us look at different rooms to let us choose our room class for our family of 4. Highly recommend!

I love the Grand Tourane. We stayed here last year as well. It has an amazing breakfast, staff are great, the swimming pool is amazing! We would have stayed longer but it was booked. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was excellent, close to tons of restaurants and directly across from the beach. It’s a big hotel with lots of guests from tour groups. The entire staff at the property were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. There was enough variety at the breakfast buffet (Western, Indian, Asian) but can be quite busy during peak hours as everyone eats before rushing off for their day trips. Only negative for us was that the building overall is a bit dated and could do with a renovation, especially the carpets in the floor corridors. However, despite this we still enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

A modern hotel with excellent amenities and staff. Right across the street from My Khe Beach. Walking distance to many restaurants, spas and shops. Great buffet breakfast. Quality meals in restaurant. Rooms spacious and clean, good aircon, plenty of hot water and wardrobe space. Clean pool. Staff very welcoming and responsive. Our 3rd stay at Grand Tourane. Highly recommended.
