This stay had a few positives, but overall… not the best experience.
The good first: the room was clean, and the guy at check-in was great super friendly and gave really helpful recommendations for places to eat and explore.
Now let’s get into everything else.
Parking was a headache from the start. I arrived around 1 AM, and the hotel lot was already full, so I had to park in an overflow lot a block away. Not ideal when you don’t know the area and it’s late at night it honestly felt uncomfortable and a bit sketchy. And to make it worse, I was told I had to move my car by 9 AM… after checking in that late. So basically, no real rest just wake up early to deal with parking again.
Then there’s the noise. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms above and next door footsteps, conversations, all of it. It didn’t feel private or relaxing at all.
And the final straw: the last night. It was freezing, and the water heater completely stopped working. No hot water whatsoever. I had to leave for the airport at 2 AM, so I ended up taking an ice-cold shower before a flight. On top of that, the hot water pressure was already weak before it stopped working entirely.
The only real highlight is the location right in the middle of everything, with tons of great spots to eat and drink nearby.
But between the parking chaos, the noise, and the cold shower situation… this place just didn’t deliver.
