The vibe is a much younger one than I am used to but I was there only for one night to catch an early morning flight. Everyone working there was polite and helpful. My room was clean and small, but I was only one person and I said at check in (3 hours early) that I did not care what room I had. It was everything I needed. I stayed at the pool all day after three weeks in the Italian heat wave....the pool was very nice, the view was spectacular and the food and drinks were terrific. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delish. This hotel used to be some sort of school and it is VAST. The only thing I would caution is that elderly travelers might find it hard to navigate to different floors and rooms.
