The location is great, right across from Milan Central. There are surprisingly good restaurants within a 10 minute walk, including a few Michelin noted places. The staff is fabulous and very helpful—and the breakfast is top notch with great variety. The aperitivo buffet is also nice. The room was clean and had everything you need to see Milan. It could use some updating and was not 4 stars, but closer to 3.

Staff were very professional and attended to my needs/requests promptly and courteously. I also noticed that they provided this level of service to other guests as well. I also liked the hotels's proximity to Milano Centrale station and metro lines and the cleanliness of the renovated rooms. The only area for improvement: the corridors need to be renovated.

Great location very close to the Milan Centrale train station. Professional staff and hotel felt safe. Complementary bottled water and soft drinks was a nice touch. Plenty of good restaurants and gelato places nearby.

Great night’s stay in Milan

We were only in Milan for one night but the Hotel Berna was in the perfect location to reach the sights in the city. The room was very comfortable. We had an early departure leaving before breakfast but the hotel made us up a breakfast bag which was great!

Staff was very friendly. Spoke English, which was helpful. Several restaurants in the area. About a 10 minute walk from Milano Central was very convenient too. For the price this is a very good option for the Milano area. Quiet and felt safe. The coffee in the lobby area was wonderful. Dated property, but well maintained. would definitely stay again.
