The room was clean. All the staff was courteous reception, restaurant and cleaning staff. It is a great location. Enjoyed walking along the canal.

Check in was easy, but as soon as got to the room, saw green bug crawling on the bedsheets, immediately went to reception to notify and showed them the bug video. they changed the room and explanation by Daniele at counter was that this kind of bugs are normal ( in his explanation: it’s just a caterpillar which will turn to butterfly later) must have gotten through windows, he was justifying that bugs are normal in any household and houses. We got room changed. Even in new room we found hairs on bedsheets, torn mattress. Again per receptionist: if you don’t like room you can go to different hotel. Terrible….terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here.

We were delayed overnight on our flight. We found this hotel by chance. It was very welcoming, the room was a great size, the ocean view was amazing, the included dinner and breakfast was delicious. The restaurants around the hotel were also sooooo good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I appreciated the fact that the AC worked in this hotel since many don’t usually work in Europe ! Now opening the door was so difficult for some reason and when I asked for help the staff member helped me open the door and said “just like in America you open to the front” like making fun of the situation which I found odd but everything else was great
