I liked the location as it was easily walkable and close to San Marco square where we could easily see the famous landmarks in the area. Vaporetta boats were accessible with short distance from hotel. I believe the breakfast, that was included, should have provided a bit more variety on the eggs and not just scambled everyday. Otherwise, it was a pretty great location, hotel was quiet and we felt very safe in the area. We also got a decent rate, considering the CAnadian dollar is weak against the Euro

The location was amazing, right next to gondola rides. Very accommodating when I explained I couldn’t do stairs, they changed our room. Close to everything and they arranged for our water taxi to pick us up right at our hotel. Very good experience.

Professional staff. Our room and bathroom were super clean and of a decent size. The continental breakfast is rich. San Marco Plaza is a minute away with all its lively atmosphere and many restaurants and coffee shops. The Gondola service is at the door. A classy hotel.

Really fun visit, so many things opened my eyes , water taxis, churches, walking around, this particular location is not the only place to stay, but it certainly made life easier for me as a solo traveller. It was perfectly located, not too distant from the water taxis and not close enough so you get some peace.

The old building is horrible, I had to go to guest services to kindly ask to be changed of room, sink was pealed as well as bath tub, beds makes noise every time I move. But finally they change my room on the following day, my advise, write the facility and let them know to put you in the main building prior to your arrival.
