Just steps from lobby desk to a gondola ride, this place is top notch. Biggest room in Europe so far! Clean accomadations in every space including breakfast room, bar, and cozy outdoor terraces poised above the canal. Do not pass this up!

Such professional staff who went the extra mile again and again. Great location right in St Marc's Square corner but quiet and lovely property and great service. Barbara made me a hair appointment, they ordered a water taxi to the airport, gave me a boxed breakfast and just made everything simple and easy with charm and grace. Second visit and highly recommend this hotel.

Despite the high price and great location, this was not a pleasant hotel stay. The good: the staff are nice and the room was clean. The bad: the room was very tiny, which was mostly fine but the problem was the noise. I could hear everything from the hallways and my neighbors, but worst of all was the staff door that slammed loudly every two minutes all day and night. I was on the first floor, so I heard this door slamming from the ground floor as though it were inside my own room. Plus a smell of sewer gas came from the bathroom intermittently for no apparent reason. Very unpleasant and very difficult to sleep. I wanted to like the hotel but I was very uncomfortable the entire time.

Fantastic location just a few 100 yrds from San Marco plaza. Gondola lagoon adjacent to the property that is fun to watch. The staff was professional and amazing.

The location is excellent, close to many restaurants, shopping stores, and tourist attractions (e.g., right next to plaza San Marcos). The room was clean but very small(e.g., bathroom is as small or smaller than cruise ship). The staff was friendly but inattentive to resolving room problems. For example, our room air conditioning wasn’t working very well the coolest it would be is 21 Celsius. We contacted the management several times and they stated initially it was resolved; but, in the end they recognized that wasn’t the case. At no time no one went to the room to check the a/c unit. Honestly, our impression was they just didn’t care and we’re just being given “lip service”. Four that reason we seriously doubt staying at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a central location, close to all the shopping and the square. We were able to walk everywhere needed within 10 minutes. The hotel has been recently renovated and was very safe and nice. It still has the historic vibe to it but was very clean. It has an elevator and AC. The breakfast was also very nice. Would definitely stay again.

The location is great, but I would take a wall view over staying here again. We endured a night without working AC. When we raised the issue, we were given a box fan instead of an immediate solution. It seemed many parts of the hotel were experiencing the same problem, so we tried to be understanding. However, on the second day, we were told the AC had been fixed, yet we had to go down three separate times to address the ongoing issue. The staff member in charge offered no explanation, instead claiming it was our fault because the card needed to be in the holder for the AC to function. After repeatedly explaining that it had been, they eventually provided an additional key and told us to return in an hour. The temperature was still reading 25 degrees. The gentlemen in charge of the front desk was exceedingly rude, and it wasn't until my husband intervened that we were finally moved to another room. The staff member refused to apologize or provide any explanation, which is simply unacceptable. While our room on the second night was adequate, we were only able to enjoy it for a few hours before leaving. I strongly advise finding another place to stay; the view does not justify the poor treatment from the staff.

It’s nicely located near San Marco Squarre. The rooms are what I believe in the traditional Venetian style. The front desk staff is professional, but not very personable. Was never asked if it went well at check out. It feels very much like a factory hotel, with high turnout, they just care to get you in and out, but I would expect a little more for people staying more than a night. Perhaps, I was wrong. Breakfast is okay, no more no less. Got disturbed three times in ten/ fifteen minutes by housekeeping. That’s a little much. I wish they had different hand soap. The smell is like some old soap bars from the 80s.
