To begin with, the room I was assigned to was not made up — it was filthy, in fact - with bedsheets on the ground and food on the tables. Strangely, this is the second Wyndham resort I’ve been to in two days (in two different states) where this had happened!
The staff were apologetic and immediately gave me a different room. While this one was properly made up, it was not clean. Garbage in the shower, a dirty pillow and the floors squeaked. Oh and the Wifi barely worked the entire time.
But the kicker was when I went to get the “free breakfast” that was included. I was told by the staff that they were looking at a new breakfast program and didn’t have anything currently. Then why advertise it on Expedia?? One of the reasons I chose this location was because of the free breakfast and I would like to be compensated for this.
Finally, I returned to my room after finding out there was no breakfast only to have my room key not working.
The management of this property needs to make some serious changes. I’ll never come back here again.
