I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to this hotel as they exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is superb, it's elegant and cozy. The staff were all accommodating and pleasant. We loved the breakfast buffet as it offers variety of food and it's very tasty. Overall, the service is totally amazing and I can personally recommend it as it provides convenience and comfort, plus it's very cheap for the entire service package.
The lobby is just superb with elegance ❤️

It is really a Muslim friendly hotel. You can hardly find this type of hotel even in a Muslim majority countries. Efficient staff, 5 star housekeeping and good dining options is also a plus.

It was great, but...

The hotel was a definite choice because it is halal-friendly, therefore we do not need to worry about breakfast and our other meals. Next to the restaurant, there are also a lot of other halal-friendly restaurants. We have only two gripes with the hotel: #1 We contacted the hotel to arrange for an airport transfer but received no reply. When we attempted to clarify, the reception pushed the blame to the booking platform instead - no apologies given. #2 and this was a bigger one: the carpet in our room (due to its light colour) looked dirty and had a lot of stains. This totally messed with us and made us wonder about the cleanliness of the remaining items around the room, such as the upholstery, the curtains, etc. We resorted to having our shoes on in the room, and couldn't bring ourselves to sit on the carpet (when we needed to unpack / pac / etc) and had lay a towel on. Otherwise, the lobby staff and the doormen were all very friendly and super helpful with tips on places to go / eat, and the breakfast buffet selection was quite alright too. We'd recommend it for its halal-friendliness, but...be prepared for the condition of the room.

Al Meroz Hotel need to upgrade and change the Breakfast menu. It had been the same for the past 3 years since I first stayed there and I had been returning to stay at the hotel for twice yearly since.

Not Recommended. Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience stay at Al Meroz Bangkok Ramkhamhaeng. I stayed for 4 nights from 20 Dec 2024 to 24 Dec 2024. We arrived from Hua Hin and checked in at the lobby at around 1900H. When we entered the hotel lobby with our luggages, the bellman and doorman (2 of them at the door) opened the big doors without greeting us and did not offer to carry our luggages. 1st disappointment. The 2nd disappointment was the very bad odour/smell that was in the toilet. We also found strands of hair in the bathub. The odour did not go away for the 4 nights despite leaving the keycard in the slot and to let the ventilation running to absorb the moist. The 3rd disappointment was the rude and unfriendly female staff at the cafe in the lobby. She gave 2 welcome drinks to our family after she asked how many family members I had. I have 4 family members, my wife and my 2 small kids. She let us sat and in the cafe and served us only 2 small cup of drink which was a grape juice. I was truly disppointed because this doesnt reflect a 5-star hotel rating standard. I spoke with the Duty Manager and he apologised on that. The restaurant manager too came and apologised. He offered complimentary breakfast to my family which I declined because I wasn't demanding for any compensation. All I wanted is for that particular female staff to know her mistake and be well educated and not to let hotel guest feel miserable. My family and I will never come back to Al-Meroz in the future.
