Breakfast was the best part during out stay. They offered a huge selection of food. We also noticed the smell in the hallway that many other reviews mentioned. It is the weakest point of this hotel. We didn't have the smell in our room though. Hotel is in a perfect location near many attractions. There is a rooftop pool in addition to another pool with gym. Overall, I would rate my stay in the hotel as excellent.

No electric points near bed to charge mobile or use laptop and no USB points in room at all. Dining at breakfast was more like a school dining room with about 150 people and lack of tables to sit when busy, Hotel is right on top of BTG Train which was good for getting around the city

The Asia Hotel was perfectly located for the BTS sky train. Direct access. Hotel needs to be updated. Inside room and hallways. Carpets are looking very crummy. Breakfast was ok, seemed a bit like a Vegas buffet. Busy busy. Tennis court part of the hotel had a fee attached, was not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. 450 baht per hour.

The bell / concierge / information desks staff were very helpful and friendly BUT the front desk staff were the opposite. The front desk staff were NOT pleasant at all, NOT helpful, NOT approachable, and did NOT display good customer service. The front desk staff would mumble something in Thai to each other when you ask them a question in English and then laugh as if mocking you for being a non-Thai speaking person. Thailand is a beautiful and its people are friendly BUT the front desk staff of Asia Hotel were NOT. I am NoT staying again at nor recommending this hotel to any traveler. BAD customer service of front desk staff!

Grand hotel if not a little dated. Room was massive with a separate living room. Even had a cheeky free upgrade. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast.

The hotel room and hallway were smelly. The carpet in hallway was very dusty. The hotel should consider renewing air vent system or install air purifier. Topping up of food during breakfast was very slow esp hot dishes. Bell captains were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staffs were attentive. The female staff wearing black coat who appears to be supervisor ignored one guest who was requesting pen and paper only while I was queuing to check out. The servers for breakfast seems overworked due to overwhelming number of guests.

I enjoyed my 1 night stay here; everything worked as it should in the room (hot water, toilet, fridge, power points etc...). The only issue I had was with the internal wardrobe light which could not be turned off as far as I could ascertain, although of course it could be minimised by sliding the doors shut.

Lobby was nice, room was really dated and in need of renovation. First room allocated to me was a safe without door, inform front desk and readily change another room. Buffet restaurant only served breakfast, lunch and dinner was not available. Plus point, taking the train is really convenient 👍
