Great hotel and great location, I was in Bangkok for four days and having stayed a a few hotels in Bangkok on previous occasions I was very keen to stay somewhere different. I found this hotel to be such a surprise, given the huge choice in the city for rooms. Very clean, great pool, great location. Full transparency, I didn't have breakfast or meals at the hotel given the choices of local restaurants so that I can't comment on but they did have several restaurant options. Also given the size of the hotel it never seemed to be busy in the lobby, rooftop bar or pool area.

I absolutely loved this property and Hotel. It had everything you could ever want. When my partner suffered a pulled muscle, they came to the room with ice packs and gel and all kinds of personalized service throughout our stay. There was one downside with the room that we had, it was on the club floor, but underneath the kitchen so at 1 AM when they were closing the kitchen and cleaning up, all we heard were pots and pans and banging. The hotel totally offered to move us to another room. The manager, the service, the rooftop bar, the gym, everything about the property was first class and it was right near the metro and BTS sky train. Highly recommend!

When I come the Bangkok—and I frequently do, I stay at the Carlton. The property is still pretty new and impeccably maintained. It’s clean, the decor is tasteful, the dining and room service are excellent. Most of all, the staff are fantastic and pay attention to every detail. This is my home away from home in Bangkok.

Average hotel - nothing special

Hotel overall is good - but they gave me a disabled room as only king bed left even though I booked a while ago. They charge a lot of money to stay with no breakfast so won’t be staying again
