Very poor standard of room ,old and falling apart,continuously water dripping in bathroom from wash cabinets,wires from wall socket stuck by cellotape ,everytime we went out and come to room the key card wont work ,have to go back to re program, it ruined the stay for me ,cery unprofessional staff woul ignore you especially a lady named Suzy from front desk would shout and embarrass us in front of everyone, this stay really spoiled our vacation.

First room had stinky cigarette smell, changed the room without hassle. Thank you. Cleanliness and air purity in Bangkok is not what I am used to as Northern European, and that affects the room, too. No points deduction because of that. Breakfast was disappointing, by trying to please all cultures, outcome was sub-par. Front desk at 11th floor was under manned and way too small to the enormous size of the hotel. Directing traffic from 4 towers to 4+1 elevators is just bad management. Gym looked nice but at lest third of the machine was out of order! Sauna was surprisingly excellent. And pool bar and pool area were lovely, food was fine and guests were loving the are all day and night. There were also larger pool at the other end of the block, much less crowded, and suitable for swimming laps. Rooms were spacious and cleaned properly, furniture was old and tacky. I had very mixed feelings of my stay, but cultural differences do matter, I try to put those aside so I can say that we ended on positive side. Also location and price were good.

Bonne surprise que cet hôtel gigantesque. C’est un hôtel des années 70 donc il faut s’attendre à des chambres un peu dans leur jus (je m’y attendais) mais tout le reste est parfait. Le personnel est très aimable. Le gros point fort est la terrasse qui a une vue à couper le souffle: le bâtiment est le seul bâtiment élevé dans la vieille ville de Bangkok d’où une vue unique.Le défaut est donc qu’il n’y a pas de transports en commun au pied à part le bateau bus mais on est bien placé entre la vieille ville et la ville moderne

The rooms looked like motel rooms with dim lighting. The showers didn't have warm water, and the bathrooms were not fully cleaned in the rooms even before we moved in. The staff at the front desk also didn't speak good English, so it was difficult to request for help with the issues we had. In addition, we were required to put down a 1000 baht deposit in cash because if we used card, they said it would take over 2 months for them to refund it back to us. There were 4 treadmills in the gym, and half of them didn't work properly. In fact, on some of the treadmills, it was dangerous running on it because it kept stopping momentarily and then starting again.
