Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Miserable decor, jaded employees, no service provided without pulling teeth. There was a sewage smell coming through the vents every afternoon lasted for hours. The shower had a loud squeal and was held together with slipshod tape. No water pressure and no hot water. Called concierge for help with a luggage trolley. Waited 10 minutes and nobody came; called front desk again and waited again for the trolley. Never came. Hauled all my suitcases down myself so as not to be late for checkout. Power went out one day and the lifts were unavailable so had to walk up and down the four floors to my room. They were doing construction and reframing every day so there was loud machinery and banging, which also created a lot of dust and debris in common areas. When you go out the front entrance there is a massive community smoking section used not just by guests but also merchants and surrounding tourists. You have to walk through cigarette and marijuana smoke each time. The rooms are dim and depressing. The television did not work.
