Book Aldwyck hotels

I have stayed there twice in the last few weeks due to a family member’s medical needs. Both times the elevators were either not working or barely working. It’s scary to not know whether you will suddenly be stuck on an elevator.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and easy to grab and go!

The hotel is in a great area but it was ok as far as cleanliness. My shower had someone else's hair in it which is a turn off. Other than that, the room was fine.

Oatmeal ran out both mornings we were there well before breakfast ended. Sausages looked ancient. Tea and coffee were good. The cinnamon rolls were fresh and good. Got stabbed in my finger by a pushpin in the room darkening curtain. The first room we were given smelled overwhelmingly like urine. We were moved and the next room had a non-functioning ventilation system.

Might’ve just been a bad weekend. There was a soccer tournament was happening and the hotel was filled with players and their families. They wanted to play and knock and run from our door. We tried to get fresh towels from housekeeping as we came back for an outing but perhaps there was a language barrier because we got nothing and we would’ve been next. I guess the room must be empty to get it serviced. The space sufficient. No bells or whistles. No pool. Breakfast was ok. There was a nice variety each day.
