Watersound Hotels with Parking

The pictures are nothing like it really looks. It’s what you would expect from a hotel built in the 60’s. Great location easy access to the beach.

The location is excellent-about a 20 minute walk to the boardwalk. The beach was beautiful and the Tiki bar on site was awesome. (Limited hours) The facility however needs some work. A fresh coat of paint (everywhere) and cleanliness would make a huge difference for this hotel.

The room was cleanish but very outdated. The pool and tiki bar were nice. The elevator doesn’t always open all the way so we opted for the stairs the entire trip. Since Parking in the front lot is very limited we had to park across the street - which was not terrible but worth mentioning for those who may not be comfortable with that.

Pools are kind of grimy. You get what you pay for and the place was affordable. The partial ocean view was beautiful, facing the sunset and a large expanse of beach to view. They give you bars of 20 year old scentless soap. No shampoos, body wash or conditioner Bring coffee and small filters if you want some in the morning. Kitchenettes do not provide dish soap. Food on property was too salty to consume. Ice cream was good but two small cones was nine bucks. Gift shop has everything you may have forgotten and smells phenomenal. We won’t stay again, but it’s not awful. You get what you pay for, just like everywhere else. I wil say that it felt like the redneck riviera in all of the public spaces. But there’s a lot for kids, and it’s a great option for families looking to go to the beach and not have to really leave the property.

The staff is super helpful and super nice

Went to room and it had beer cans all in trash and sand on top bunk so they gave us another room it was much better but tub was very soft and you could hear water underneath and blow dryer didn’t work . I think they need to mop the tiles that would look cleaner..
