This property was a great place to stay for the one night we were in Vancouver. It has a great vibe! Comfortable and clean. The inner courtyard with plants and fireplace was terrific ! Parking included was excellent!

It’s located across from the hospital so get used to sirens. Yes it was handy to restaurants and the bed was comfortable but that’s all is good about it as it’s an old building and the noise from portable air conditioning unit was unbearable and got next to no sleep or turn It off and sweat. On complaining to front desk they said a lot of guests were complaining about it and their only solution was to offer ear plugs. Definitely not worth the room rate they are charging. 😩

Charming and clean

Charming, clean, convenient location to Granville Market, Yaletown, Gastown, Downtown. Loved that it was near a lot of places within walking distance. The adjacent cafe had great coffee and pastries. The only drawback was a lot of homeless and police sirens/presence, possibly due to being across from a hospital. But I never felt unsafe (solo female traveler). Great price/bargain.

Convenient hotel in Downtown Vancouver

This hotel is located very conveniently in the middle of Downtown Vancouver where most attractions are within a 15-minute walk or bus/train ride. Hotel staff was very nice and greeted us each morning and evening when we were coming and going. Ping pong and corn hole in the courtyard was very fun. My only complaint was that the air conditioning was very loud. I would stay here again if I’m ever in Vancouver in the future.

Great downtown Vancouver stay

My favourite hotel in Vancouver. The staff are always the most friendly and helpful I encounter on my trips. This trip included free secure parking and free bank rentals. We rode all over Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver! The garden in the courtyard is wonderful. We'll be back in 1 month for another stay!

Our second stay at this downtown hotel. Fun 50s-60s vibe and very clean. Free parking was a major plus. No lobby area but could walk to whatever we needed and had a nice outside area. Would definitely stay again.

This is a good budget hotel for downtown Vancouver. The good bits, super comfortable bed coffee machine iron and board, the free mocktails and chips were a nice touch the bathroom is dated but plenty of hot water although the shower could do with a bit more pressure and new nossel. Out air worked well but it’s a standalone machine which had a bucket at the rear for the water, we woke up on our third morning to find our room flooded and I mean flooded I doubt if the bucket had been emptied in a while. The staff seem to accept it as a normality it did soak one of the pillows which had fallen on the floor during the night and we had to ask again for this to be replaced as it was just left in the room all day and was still there the late that evening when we returned This flooding has obviously happened before as the flooring was lifting under the bed It is centrally located and walkable to almost anywhere in downtown The outside garden area was nice place to have a coffee first thing Would I stay here again probably not, It is an ok place for a few days but the flooding did put me off as it was just an accepted incident by the staff which as someone who has worked on cruise ship hospitality I found a let down, the staff were all pleasant enough
