The Parker Hotel advertises as a boutique hotel but it definitely is not. It is an old hotel with a new coat of paint on it. The carpets, rooms, beds, windows, hardware are just old. I was very disappointed when we walked off the elevator and then opened the door to our room. When trying to sleep at night there was absolutely no air conditioning and the temperature in our room reached 26 degrees. When we called down we were advised to open a window. We had two young children who were crying and coughing because they were so uncomfortable. Eventually we were given two table fans. No one in our family got any sleep and could not wait to check out asap the next day. The beds also have automatic lights that turn on anytime someone moves so this constantly woke up our children as we tried to figure out how to cool the room down. I would never stay here again. It’s an over priced old hotel.

Nice property in cool spot. Highlight for sure was rooftop bar. Our first room had air conditioner that was so loud we didn’t sleep first night. Next day staff kindly moved us to another room. Property is nice with comfortable bed. Rooms are small but cozy. All staff was friendly and helpful. A little Expensive for where it is Dow town but still nice.

The staff was amazing. Wagner helped so much and so did our driver shambaum they were excellent those two went over and beyond everything for us. I would highly recommend going there and those two definitely deserve a raise.

I was really hoping to get room service, there wasn't any. my ketchup at the restaurant for breakfast both times looked like 5 people had already used it, and the eggs were very overcooked. Creamer was in a small espresso mug made it very hard to pour without spilling. Used the jacuzzi and so much dirt came out of the jets. Wanted to blow dry my hair, no blowdryer provided in the room, I had to travel light and didn't bring mine assuming most hotels provide one. Sheets were very scratchy. Disappointing experience for the price point.

Loved the location. Only a few minutes walk away from most busses/ ferries and the waterfront park area. Staff was great and service is very good. Our room was on 8th floor and the restaurant is on 9th. Apparently they have 0 carpeting/ noise insulation because we can hear all the chair moves and heels steps upstairs until bar closed around midnight. In the morning, we were greeted with drilling at noon. On normal days we would go out in the day time, but having traveled back from +12hrs, jet lag kept us in property. Cannot sleep or rest with the excessive noise. Asked to move room, and the staff were nice enough to offer 7th floor free of charge. We would have stayed for the duration if management was service-oriented enough to provide some additional accommodations or credit. Instead, we were rushed to leave our room 3 times because house keeping need the room at 1p.m to clean for 3p.m check ins, which makes no sense as the rooms were tiny. Pushed back and got extended for 1:30. No apologies from management for the inconvenience, no apologies for the noise, not even free breakfast to compensate for us having to deal with jet lag and grumpy 4-yr-old. Got out as fast as we could and asked for refund for the last day, which was approved. We would have stayed the full trip if they were a bit more proactive, but unfortunately management doesn't care enough to empathize with guests when the summer traffic to this area is ludicrous.
