I really enjoyed my short stay. The service was friendly and attentive. The room was simple with older furnishing but clean. New clean sheets and blankets. Good for when you need a room on a budget. The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants, shops and easy access to the subway.

Great service in an old building

Although I checked in around 11:30 p.m. and the reception was closed, I was glad there were still employees who took care of me once I rang the bell at the front door. The room was clean and the bed has a good width. However, the pillows are way too hard and they are uncomfortable. Lastly, the soundproofing between units and the streets is disappointing given how old the building is. For instance, if emergency vehicles are blaring their sirens on Queen Street West, you will hear them and will not be able to sleep.

I am an older adult with arthritis in my knees which made it very difficult and painful to go up and down the stairs. My room was on the 2nd floor. I appreciate the staff for helping to take my luggage up and down the stairs. Another issue is that one of the door key did not work which caused some inconvenience for the 2nd guest

Comparing to the price, it has nothing. Not even tooth paste, let alone a fridge! I had to get thus hotel which was close to area, I wont be there again.

I liked about the location and the cleanliness. The price is cheaper compared to other hotels so I was OK with shared bathroom. However, there was no breakfast which was a bit upsetting. If you need a quiet place to sleep, you can have problems here since it is a very small place, like a single-person dorm. I stayed for the new year's eve so I did not bother about the noise. Overall, it was a nice stay in terms of its location and cleanliness.

Cute homey fun safe stay

Really enjoyed the atmosphere... And the staff was super friendly and helpful both in the hotel and the restaurant. Definitely a nice touch.Listening to the jazz music in the evenings flowing through the floor.... Definitely would recommend this place!
