The staff was outstanding. Had an issue checking in that was in no way related to the hotel, however, they comped me a drink to alleviate the frustration. The staff in both restaurants were also outstanding

The room was clean only a few cracks in the corner of ceiling but not obvious. Loved the art work in the room. I loved the thought of giving complimentary gift for my birthday. We didn’t get a chance to use the free drinks card but hopefully next time. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. They made sure we knew what was available during our stay. Overall it was a great experience and comfortable.

The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast room had a very good selection of dishes. The Consort Bar at the hotel is also great for lunch or dinner or to have a cocktail or a glass of wine. The building is older though and so is the HVAC system which is quite noisy at times. Getting access to free internet access was also a bit of a challenge and not ideal for business travellers.

The staff was excellent, and we were pleased to book this stay as a 25th‑birthday gift for our daughter and her boyfriend. As it was his first visit, we hoped for a seamless experience. Unfortunately, a baby crib had been left in the room from the previous guests, which raised understandable concerns about whether the room had been thoroughly cleaned. This oversight diminished what was meant to be a special evening for them.
