Stone Oak luxury accommodation

Some front desk people not friendly. Shower water temperature could not be set; it cycled between cold and hot, room temperature could not be adjusted either; it was set at 64 F. Shampoo and soap were not supplied since day one.

We had a wonderful stay and the location was perfect!!!

Clean rooms and hotel, friendly staff, the pool was nice and quiet and the stay was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we entered the hotel our family was greeted by their friendly, informative staff that welcomed us with a complimentary margarita. They have a beautiful property on the river walk with just about everything you could want, in walking distance. Dorrego's on site restaurant & bar was outstanding. They also have a separate tequila bar. You could spend the weekend and never leave the hotel. We will be back to stay as soon as possible!

The room was nice and spacious, but not very clean. The floors were sticky, there were smears and stains on the bathroom walls, the tables throughout the room had some sticky smears. Our bathroom sink barely drained and was very slow. I had a few cold showers during our 3 night reservation. We did notify the front desk and hotel messaging about the issues and was told that the drain would be fixed first thing in the morning, the floors would be cleaned to remove the maple syrup smell and stickiness, and the boiler would be reset to improve the water temp. Not one housekeeping or maintenance visit occurred during our stay. The front desk was pleasant and friendly and did reset the water for us to have a warm shower the final night. The breakfast was underwhelming and the breakfast area was dirty. We will be staying at a different location the next time we visit San Antonio.
