The property was very run down. Our room was dirty with hairballs on the floor. They didn't clean the room prior to our arrival. Bedding was dirty with makeup on sheets. The restroom had toothpaste on the sink. The glass table was dirty. The room was horrible dirty and they didn't clean it when we checked in. We asked for another room. The room was also run down. The swimming pool was cloudy and merky. It looked nothing like the pictures.

The staff went above and beyond. First appearance of the hotel itself was terrible, nothing warm or inviting about the outside of the building. No clear indication of how to enter the building. It was advertised as being on the riverwalk however that was also misleading. The interior was ok and was clean, however the pictures showed a newer less worn appearance than what we found. Not sure the hotel was 4 star, but the staff was.

Hotel staff were super friendly and checked on us throughout our stay. We requested several small things and they had them brought up within minutes. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant left something to be desired but I think the fault there was on the angry waitress and her poor customer service so we just found other options for food. All in all we would stay here again.
