Older building, generally well maintained. Coffee shop and smaller bar/restaurant, with good bar food. Maria(I believe was her name) at the Gavel was excellent and she did a great job! Conveniently located close to the Riverwalk plaza. Our room needed a new toilet seat and the bathroom needs some touch up paint, but it was clean.

Decent property, the pictures look much better than the actual rooms. I liked that pool has quiet hours. Paid parking next to the property was fine. The restaurant was not busy for dinner but super busy for breakfast. It was fine for an overnight stay.

We loved that this property was so close to the Riverwalk. We could also walk to the Alamo and the mall to get the hop on hop off Trolley. The rooms were great and the bar/restaurant had great drinks and a delicious breakfast.

Just wasn’t worth what I paid for a night didn’t offer complementary breakfast also said it was free parking on Expedia and when I arrived had to pay $40 for valet parking

Property is an older building so it definitely doesn't have the new building vibe but it was clean and staff was friendly and helpful so i give it a good rating uf that's what your looking for. We were able to valet car and not have to hassle with parking garage and it was very easy check in and out

Good proximity to the river walk, but hotel is in poor condition, clearly trying to keep up, but is not working. You are paying for being close to the riverwalk.
