This hotel is amazing. It was like I stepped back in time when I set foot in the door. Everything was wonderful, but… I recommend not eating at the bar. Food is not very good.

My room had no windows. We put do not disturb on the door and one maintenance guy was checking the air filters. He did not care if we put not to disturb. He said he had a key and can go in even if we are not there, so we waited for him and opened the door so he can change the filter but then he said it was not necessary after he checked. I did not like that he did not respect the do not disturb sign on the door. Breakfast was cold. It was ok but I don't think I would stay here again. Specially because it was a bit expensive and my room had no view at all.

The "snacks" that were included at Happy Hour were actually dinners. The food was excellent and definitely more than we expected. Also, 3 free drinks was a perk, although we could not ever drink that much.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Entire motel was clean. Great amenities. The thing that stood out the most was the location of the property. Centrally located downtown on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Excellent all around.
