We picked this hotel for a one-night stay because of its proximity to friends and its excellent reviews.
The staff was great - very friendly and helpful, especially the valet staff and front desk personnel. The hotel lobby felt very modern and boutique-y, which was nice but I was less impressed with the room. For one, the hotel was pushing us to buy wine, snacks, and even bottled water… everywhere I looked, there were items for sale. I guess this could be considered a “convenience” but I would have appreciated some free water.
The bed was soooo comfortable and had great pillows. The rest of the furniture seemed cheap, though, and the A/C barely kept up with the unseasonably warm day/evening. Granted, we like it like an icebox but I don’t think the room got below 70. The bathroom was clean but the shower was pretty pitiful.
Don’t get me wrong - it’s a nice hotel, comfortable and clean. But there are probably nicer ones out there for the price.
