Room was upgraded at no charge had a amazing ocean view. Jacuzzi at the spa was disappointing as the water was cold... not 100 degrees as advertised. The spa prices were crazy expensive. The bar tenders and wait staff were amazing, very happy, very friendly. Front desk staff were not super friendly. Nexus tour booker Alex was amazing definitely recommend, even checked back to see how our excursion was and to say good bye and helped us to our airport shuttle.

There was 12 of us traveling together, it was the most horrible trip we've had in over 10 years we've been going to Mexico!! I was platinum VIP & they treated us horribly!! Our room was 2 tiny beds, for my husband & I, we had stains & feet print on our bed, no refrigerator, no microwave, we had a coffee pot but we had to buy the coffee! Most of the staff was very rude to us and (yes, we tipped very well). The front desk was horrible. Restaurant staff was not nice! We had to flag down bartenders at the pool, cuz nobody would help us. I just have never had a worse experience at any other resorts in Mexico!! The absolute best thing about this place is we got to go to Emerald Bay Pueblo Bonita!!! It was amazing!!! All the staff at the buffet, the restaurants, the pool, the bar, they were on top of it and so super nice! Everyone was so nice & chill & cool, they always were like "hola" how is your day going? Have a nice day/evening. Can we get you anything? Our drinks weren't even finished before we were getting another one.. I definitely will NEVER go back to Pueblo Bonita, but Emerald Bay I will!!!

Everything was great from start to finish! The resort was beautiful, clean, and such a great place for families. There were always fun activities going on, and Carlos with the activities team was the best — super friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire staff was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

The staff was so nice. My cousin and I had two different rooms right next to each other. They did NOT have a safe. BIG disappointment, especially since my cousin's American money was stolen out of her room where she hid it. We think it was the maid. We did not eat on the property so I couldn't tell people whether that was good or not. We ate breakfast across the street at Gus Gus for two weeks and the food and staff were EXCELLENT. We ate dinner there a couple nights too, and I can honestly say, the fish and other types of food were ALWAYS fresh, tasty, and prepared exactly as we requested them. Everything was great and convenient at this hotel. They just should NOT rent out rooms WITHOUT safes, especially since they have a THIEF amongst their staff.
