We had a great stay at the Grand Sirenis. Our favorite part of it was the pool and the ongoing entertainment for families. The food is only ok, not great. But we felt it was ok for what we paid. Lots of options. Some of the bathrooms near the restaurants really need updating and to be cleaned more often. Our room was nice and some people that worked there were lovely. We were happy with our trip there!

David at the Expedia desk was incredibly helpful with transportation. The facility had many restaurant options and were easy to get into. Lots of beach, chairs and shade available. Only downfall was there wasn’t a lot of activities posted for families.

Recently renovated. Great entertainment. Reserved on giving it greater review due to the quality of the rooms. My family had problems with the AC units that were never fully resolved and our bed sheets were lacking in comfort and felt a bit unsanitary. Staff is generally friendly but recommend always being prepared for tipping.

The property was outdated and just not clean. The rooms are old and smell like mold. The food looks dry and unpleasant. There are flies all through the dining halls. The kids club is bare and smells like mold. The water park slides look old. We honestly did not have a good time due to the facility itself. Although, our concierge Marianna was very kind and did her very best to try and make things as comfortable as possible. She moved our rooms because the first room we got was absolutely filthy. The Japanese restaurant is good, as well as the American restaurant.

We have been to many all inclusives and this one was disappointing. The service was not good, food buffets were not fresh and same everyday (no seafood or fresh fruit). Had to wait for drinks, staff wasnt friendly. Booked dinner reservations but always at 9 so missed entertainment- dinner was ok but not service or treatment as expected. We paid a lot to be here and felt it wasn’t worth it at all. We love DR and will return but at a different resort that cares about guests and having a good time. We are sad to say this resort did not satisfy two adults and two pre teens from the US. No one waited on us- we always had to figure out where to get towels, things that were going on at the resort, no room service, etc. We paid to be pampered and didn’t ask for much but this resort just offers the basics. We had issues with the room we booked at check in that took forever for them to make right, English is a barrier, beach and pools close by 6. We felt staff wanted tips for every little thing. Water park is not safe and up to standards.

We enjoyed our first visit here. Fun pool, plenty of entertainment, and generally decent clientele at the resort. Many workers, but service definitely could be improved in the restaurants, bars etc. Having to request drinks multiple times is not the best experience. The booking experience for restaurants is absurd. It’s 2025. Let people book online. Also, did not like the checkout experience at all. Very pushy to give this review, even coming around the desk and trying to get me to open my email and do it there in front of them. I would imagine majority of people do that as it’s an uncomfortable experience.

We did have a good time on this vacation but I would not come back to this particular resort. The buffet was the same everyday. The Ala carte restaurants for dinner were very hard to get reservations for, the food was not good and service was not good. Every restaurant took forever to get a drink and to get someone to take your order. There are no Ala carte restaurants for breakfast or lunch. There are several bars all over but you’re easily waiting 5-10 minutes for a drink. The family suite room was very small for five people. With the couch bed out there was hardly any room to walk in the room. And the couch bed doesn’t fold up into the sofa. We had to pull the mattress up and lean it against the wall. The bathroom was so small for five people and all the toiletries. The beach was great. Plenty of chairs but hard to get one in the shade. The waterpark was a blast for my seven year old. Overall, not a bad experience like some reviews I read but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return.
