The hotel made a great first impression with its beauty and luxury, but the service fell short. Check-in was slow and disorganized, with unclear instructions and unenthusiastic staff. The atmosphere was disappointing due to strict quiet policies, lack of music before noon, and limited lively areas. While staff members like Alberto, Daniel, and Jean Carlos stood out for their excellent service, the overall vibe didn’t meet expectations. The room was underwhelming, with a dirty jacuzzi, mosquitoes, and a non-functioning TV that went unaddressed. Food options were limited, though the Italian restaurant and Onyx steakhouse were highlights. Access to the Onyx resort was misleading, as it catered more to families than the fun, adult vibe advertised. **I hope this helps anyone looking to book in the future.**

Great property! We did the exhale club and our butler was eh and I was supposed to get a room upgrade and I did not although they said I did, we went with a group and my room was exactly the same as everyone else and actually was missing beach bag, blow dryer, had less amenities and didn’t even have the basics. So I had the least best room out of our group.

Honestly, the sole reason I’m giving this resort 5 stars is because of our concierge Gricelda. I’ve never experienced a concierge go above and beyond the way she did. The only reason I would return is if she was our concierge again.

This is a Hyatt all-inclusive north of Punta Cana Our first visit and it was wonderful. Contemporary beach deco, there are ample pool chairs and beaches were best we have had in the Caribbean (we travel extensively St Lucia, Jamaica, Grenada and Curaçao to name a few). Service was quite good and language barrier is not an issue (if you were so concerned) We had a partial ocean view room and it was great I guess our room level qualified us for “XHale club” which had a lounge and our own pool if desired for use. The xhale club level also got us into breakfast at oceanview restaurant which was great. Plenty of water sports and many daily activities There are numerous pools — the main pool is closest to the beach. It is active, can be loud, sometimes too much IMO but overall is great. Towels are plentiful early but by mid-afternoon can run low You do not have to get up early to reserve a spot but if you want shade on beach would suggest by 8 or 9 at latest. You can rent beds or 2 level gazebo for the day. Highly recommend. There is another pool in center of resort with waterfall and bar. It is not for the faint of heart. There is bottle service and very loud music/DJ and activities and if your room is up near the lobby you will not be able to avoid it until it stops at 6pm, just FYI. Plenty of restaurants of different tastes. We enjoyed the buffet restaurant on numerous occasions. There is a nice candlelight beach dinner you can purchase.

The reason I gave 3 star is because, 1) rooms are antiquated wear down condition. 2) cleaning crew are very loud in the hallways, they talk a lot. 3) Restaurant service they are unprofessional they talk load across the room, food not good at all. 4)They water down the drinks, the amount of alcohol in the drinks is zero to nothing and if you tell the waitress they look at you weird. 5) if you don’t tip them they won’t give good service. 6) pools are beautiful but full bugs. Would I go back? Chances are we won’t.

Beautiful property with a great party atmosphere, but also quiet areas if so chosen. Our room did have a wet/musty smell. I had to wash all the clothes we brought when we got home. Even the ones that were not used because of the smell.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Breathless resort. The staff is so friendly and the property is really nice and safe. There was a variety of food options but my favorites were the Spoon, Spumante and The Nook. The pool parties do get a little loud, but luckily our room was just far enough away so the noise was manageable. I’d go back to this property again in a heartbeat.

Excelent, the staff goes beyond the call of duty to give you superb service. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our time at Breathless Punta Cana. Janna was incredible and she made all our dinnef reservations and worked everything out for us. Beautiful stay. We are coming back again.

This resort is pretty fun but has the potential to be much funner. There are multiple pools with 1 as the "party pool" and they only have fun party music playing for a few hours per day. There is only 1 place to get towels and its not conveniently located to the amenities. The food was pretty good. The pools close at like 6pm. That was irritating for an adults only resort. The bartenders are great, a few dont appear to enjoy customer service. The premier level rooms should also be more centralized to the activities. The resort is long instead of circle, so if you are at 1 end everything is a long walk, our room we got intentionally for the access to the fun was on the far back. Ultimately, we had an amazing girls trip but we definitely learned some things for the next one. This is not a true party resort.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Clean beach , very clean property. Staff was all wonderful. Food was 6/10 . Pools all clean . Fun events during day and night . Vendors on the beach can be a bit pushy.
