Photos are misleading

The pictures are misleading. Would have given it 5* if we didn’t feel misled. Standard double room in photos has full sized windows, what we got had 2 tiny windows. Otherwise, good hotel, nice location but wouldn’t book again for this reason.

Comfy stay

It was just at the foot of the Charles bridge, very close and convenient to the other tourist attractions like the Prague castle and the river cruise. Hotel was maintained to a high standard and the receptionists were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay, absolutely no complaints. Location is perfect for walking everywhere in Old and Lesser Towns. We arranged a very early morning transfer to the airport with a quick stop at the reception desk a few days before departure. No problems, driver was on time, and the hotel even packed a to-go breakfast for us. Highly recommend this hotel.

Most convenient location for first time visit to Prague. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff, Stanley, and he also arranged airport pickup and train station drop off for us. Incredibly quiet hotel in the foot of the busiest Charles bridge. Breakfast was great. Bed was very comfortable. Complementary prosecco and red wine in room upon arrival. Lovely stay. Almost everything was great, particularly the staff, the breakfast and the cleanliness. However, the water in the shower stopped. These were short showers, but the water literally stopped coming out on all 3 days. Had to wait 5 minutes to get a trickle to finish rinsing off. It didn’t even turn cold first — just stopped.

The hotel was very quaint, and well located (right beside the Charles Bridge). It is a busy area, but it wasn't too noisy. Breakfast was fine, and the room was quite big. The bed was much too firm, and the room had a mild smell--possibly from the shower drain? It is an old building...

Very close to excellent restaurants. I was in Prague 2 days earlier and stayed at the Three Storks (another AVE chain) two blocks north, this hotel is better. Across the street is Lokal, the place to be. There's even a wine bar next door. The hotel is immaculate and immediately off the main path through Charles Bridge. So it's a 10 mins walk to the old town. Inside the bathroom floors are always heated which caught me off guard in a good day. Free bottle of wine in the room and breakfast included. Extra love seat for sitting, vaulted ceilings and big windows. After staying in Vienna the week before I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
