property has been well maintained but the ac units still an issue. Stayed here for 5 years in a row and switched hotels for a while. Decided to try again and same issue. We were finally able to switch rooms on third night and better but first two nights were rough Drinks horrible. Food pretty good for all inclusive but drinks really bad at any bar.. ended up not getting anymore and just eating there

We had a lovely stay! We really enjoyed the daytime, pool activities, extensive buffet options and having access to shaded areas around the pool. The beach was beautiful, although covered in seaweed and eroded from a previous storm, the nighttime and entertainment was always a hit!

The property was a solid 7/10 but would have been higher if the food was better. The buffets were always fresh but the restaurants were sub par (like dont waste your time...with the exception of Krystal fusion. Pools were clean. No top shelf alcohol. Had a variety of pools close together so options were good and you could choose from the party pool,volleyball pool which was more quiet pool. Towels on chairs in the morning is required if you are a big group but there always seemed to be somewhere if you got going by 10 (even on march break). Beach was nice but only had palm trees for shade. Water was beautiful and had seaweed come on shore a couple of days...but nothing to stress over. You could walk the beach to Playa del Carman but would not recommend being out at night. Easy 10 dollar cab ride into Playa del Carman to shop. The hotel is in a gated community so we felt safe going for a run every morning on the road as the beach was not very flat. Rooms were clean but privacy in bathroom was limited. Beds were OK (firm) and the sheets were clean but nothing to write home on comfort. Recommend mattress toppers and better pillows. Riu Neon party is fun on Friday night. The hotel itself is really pretty. It looks like you are on a grand cruise ship. All in all wont necessarily go back but we were happy with our trip.

It is a beautiful property with great beachfront and a walkable beach in both directions and you felt safe walking on the sidewalk. Having access to other resorts was great since one had tennis, basketball and pickleball that this resort did not. Food and drinks were amazing, and I liked not having to make a reservation at the specialty restaurants. Nightly entertainment was good too. Staff were friendly, attentive and it was very clean. Halls can be a bit noisy at nighttime, but if you aren't facing the centre, the outside is quiet.

Property was immaculate, and staff was attentive, responsive in all areas, including dining housekeeping and front desk. The extra activities, such as water aerobics, and poolside games were super fun. The beach had a splendid breeze. Very impressed with the quality of everything.

Everything is excellent, beautiful property, good food and friendly staff. They really try hard to please. It can get a bit noisy around midday but then again March is high season; the hotel was full.
