This is our second stay at the property. It’s got a lovely back porch and view! We love walking the grounds and plucking fruit off the trees to sample!

This rental was absolutely the perfect way to start out our Hawaii vacation. The gardens outside were absolutely beautiful and the view of the ocean couldn't be beat! We wish we had more time there to relax on top of all tourist stuff we did. The room was comfortable and matched the listing exactly.There is a short, steep hill that you need to climb to get to the unit (although you probably could have walked around the other house to avoid the hill) so be aware of you have mobility issues...just an FYI...not a complaint.We highly recommend this rental!!

We just wrapped up five unforgettable days at Hale Luana, and I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how special it was. This home was everything I had dreamed of and more—a true slice of paradise.From the moment we arrived, we felt at peace. Tucked into lush greenery with breathtaking ocean views, it was the perfect setting for our family to gather, relax, and celebrate our daughter’s wedding. Every detail of the home made it feel warm, welcoming, and intentionally designed for families to make lasting memories.The spacious layout, the incredible lanai, the cozy bedrooms—it all felt like home, but better. Hale Luana truly lives up to its name, offering a heavenly place to connect, unwind, and soak in the beauty of Hawaii. There was such a feeling of peace here. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us!

We were there for a family reunion, the location was perfect. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff.

We were very impressed with the grounds, which is literally a lovely jungle botanical garden. Just within steps of the house is a small stream and waterfall, surrounded by beautiful tropical plants. The unit itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all the amenities you can think of. Locally, the dining options are fairly limited, because the nearby town, (Honokaha), is very small. But, there's a large grocery store, if you want to pick up some items as you pass through town. There is an adequate assortment of shops in Honokaha to keep you busy for a day of browsing, but if you start craving a bigger city, Waimea is 20 miles away. This was a very enjoyable mini-vacation for my wife and I, which we may repeat.
