Great staff, very clean room, Chef prepared some interesting food which made for lovely social evenings. Recommend everything except a couple noisy coqui frogs.

This was a perfect place to stay. The host couple are incredibly kind and caring. You can tell they truly put their heart into taking care of the whole property. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was well prepared — TV, microwave, coffee, towels, extra blankets — all thoughtfully provided. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Occasionally, their rescued little cats would stop by to say hello, which made the stay even more special. This is definitely a place I would come back to again.

Could have been cleaned a little better especially the top of the refrigerator

We stayed five days here on our first trip to Big Island and fell in love with Hilo, a huge part of that was this gorgeous property full of lovely animals and livestock, fruit trees, and the kindest most responsive hosts. We even made friends with a lovely couple, also guests at this property who return here year after year (we can see why). It is conveniently located to reach Hilo downtown as well as to see waterfalls, lava caves, beaches, and the volcano. It is private, safe, quiet and really well-maintained. It is also extremely spacious, clean beautifully decorated. It had the most room of all the places we stayed on this trip to Oahu and Big Island. Bravo to Garvin and Laura Goode. You guys are amazing!

Adelina it’s so sweet and is such a joy to visit with. Really appreciate her willingness to host us in their quiet, peaceful little place.
