Book Paauilo hotels

A little drive north out of Hilo Check in and communications with host was easy and helpful. Property was as advertised and very relaxing. Loved the location!Definitely would stay again!

Small boutique hotel, only about 8 (nice) rooms. Ocean sunrise views. Nice dinner included 3 nights per week. Infinity pool. Accommodating staff. About 15 minutes from Hilo but otherwise nothing much in the immediate area. No swimming beach but you can walk down to the coast to watch the waves. Very quiet, but we were the only guests the week we visited.

Absolutely superb. Randy thought of everything to make this a quiet, friendly, comfortable place to stay. A quiet retreat. It put a dent in our tourist activities, though, because we didn’t want to leave! It’s good to do some grocery shopping before you get there, as there are minimal food options in the immediate area.

This is our second stay at the property. It’s got a lovely back porch and view! We love walking the grounds and plucking fruit off the trees to sample!

This has been one of the most special places I’ve ever been to. The sounds of the forest at night are surreal and can touch your soul. I’ve only spent one night at the cabin but I will never forget my time here. The cabins are super cute, clean, and comfortable. The short path to the lodge with bathrooms is marked by some torches on the ground at night. The sky cleared up in the middle of the night so I could enjoy the stars while walking to the lodge. AMAZING.

We enjoyed the beautiful ocean sunrise sitting on the lanai while watching the birds fly from tree to tree. The sounds of frogs and birds abound in this lush environment. The cottage is well appointed and meets all your needs.
