I would like to share a disappointing experience I recently had during my stay at your hotel from May 15th to May 16th.
My stay started off wonderfully — the room was great, the service was excellent, and I was very pleased with the overall experience. On the evening of May 15th, I approached the front desk to request an extension of my stay for one more night. The gentleman at the reception assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. He told me that he would hold the same room for me and simply asked that I return in the morning to finalize the extension.
However, when I came back to the front desk the next morning, I was told by a different staff member that there were no available rooms and that I would have to check out immediately. This was incredibly upsetting and unexpected, especially after having received confirmation the night before.
As a result, we had to urgently pack, check out, find a new hotel, and go through the entire check-in process again — all of which completely disrupted our plans for the day. Instead of enjoying our planned activities, we lost a valuable day of our vacation.
This experience was extremely disappointing, especially as a loyal guest of the Marriott brand. I have always chosen Marriott properties for their reliability and excellent service, but this incident has left me quite frustrated.
