Everything about our stay was amazing. Aleena was so sweet during our check-in. The property is beautiful, themed well and has great parking. We stayed in the Beachside tower and we were so happy we did. The view to Volcano Bay is stunning, the property is large but there is parking everywhere so it's easy to move around if you don't want to walk everywhere. Both pools are huge and the bowling alley and arcade were both great to have as additional entertainment options. The lobby was always clean. The Starbucks on property was so convenient and the service was surprisingly quick, especially for how busy it gets in the morning. The shop has so many great souvenirs and we found it to have the best variety out of all the other Universal hotels we have seen. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. Proximity to the parks is great and you can even walk, it's like a 10-15 min walk from the hotel to the park and the views along the way make the walk even nicer. We were very happy with our choice and can't wait to go back.

My room wasnt available so they upgrade me to family suite. The good plenty parking and quiet dining has alot options. Theyalo have a malt shake shop. The bad no phone network and far from bus. It was the thunderbird section which was the furthest from anything. Pool was close.

Very friendly staff and free convenient shuttle buses to Orlando theme parks. If you forget to pick up a souvenir at the theme park, they have an Orlando Studios store inside the hotel with some of the same souvenirs.

The location was perfect. My son loved the amenities. However I didn’t like there wasn’t no valet or help with luggage. It was extremely difficult to find a luggage cart. As a single parent it was difficult to manage all those variables. The room seems outdated. There’s paint chipping everywhere. Bathroom extremely small. The room key that gave you access to the buildings or the pools hardly ever worked. Me and my child had to wait for someone to pass, to open the door for us. Several people were waiting outside the building, waiting to get in because their room key wasn’t working either. I did not like the cigarette smoking area are in every single entrance of the hotel buildings…you have no choice but to walk past the smoke. Overall way over priced for what you actually get.
