Would not reccomend: no parking, room quality poor, remote control had scotch tape holding batteries in place, smelled, very small room...you can have all this for over $200 a night! What a deal...
Hotel is located in the middle of a drug district. This Hotel was a community safe house for homeless people. We could not stay there because it was unsafe. We just traveled 24 hours on 3 different flights from Croatia and this is what we had to go though! I called 5 different Hotels and no one had a room. We got a cab driver that was nice enough to drive us to 6 different Hotels that were all booked up. He called a friend and she found us a Best Western that had a room for us. We had know choice but to take it. Not a good neighborhood in Queens, N.Y. Costing us $239.00 for the night. The cab driver was nice enough to take out of this neighbor hood the next day to the airport. So, $100.00 later for cab rides and $239.00 for the Hotel that I would never recommend and the total aggravation of searching for 3 hours from 6:00 P.M. when we arrived at JFK airport to finally 9:00 P.M. in a just ok room. We have booked many trips with your web sight and we, my wife and I, are so very disappointed that you even have this so called Hotel listed. Wow , what a big mistake!! We hope in the future, no one else has to go though this bad experience like we did! Steven and Phyllis Radies, Very unhappy
Very bad. Room no 303 air cooler not working properly and hotel stuff know that but management do not care on this. brakefast is so poor and service of that section is need to take care.
Any way I may avoid this hotel in future.
There was Police leaving the front door as I checked into the hotel. Lift did not work, people not from the hotel standing in the lobby and front door ...actually tried to get my money back and book into somewhere else however was not able to do this because no refund in my booking. Did not stay the night and stead in with a friend. My mistake needs to be more careful booking on Expedia.
also walk is written on the window of this B&B....99 dollar stay,
The hotel was okay. It was not overtly dirty, no bugs etc. But one got a hinky feeling. There was a lot of street noise and slamming of doors late at night. Continental breakfast was questionable. There seemed to be quite a few single mothers with baby strollers coming and going. At one time a child was jumping and playing on the one couch in the lobby. , while the desk clerk was on a personal phone call. Does no.one speak English?
This hotel was no better than a cheep motel. The condition of the hotel was very drab. The front desk staff were rude and acted put out with anything I asked. The room was small and dirty. The bed cover and towels were stained. There were marks on the walls and ceiling. The bathroom was small and the amenities were cheep and rough.
Then when we asked for a cab to go to our dinner reservation the front desk said that it was in a really bad neighborhood and suggested a diner down the street. When I said that that was not the atmosphere I was looking for and could they make another suggestion, they just mumbled and then called the cab. The restaurant was wonderful and was in a better neighborhood than where the hotel is. I would NOT stay at this hotel. It was horrible!
This hotel was disappointing. My wife and I were given a room on the first floor which was dirty and loud. There was a security guard right outside our door being very loud on her phone with no regards to the guests of the hotel. The cherry on the top was when they started vacuuming the floors outside our door at 4am. After two miserable nights they were able to move us to a better room. Another things that we noticed is that this hotel is also used as a shelter. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only positive note was that the hotel is very close to the subway station so that going to Manhattan wasn't a problem, but in reality everywhere you go in New York City is close to a subway station.

Nice stay
I wasn't expecting much for a one nite to stay. But it was fine. Room was clean, pillows were soft. Bed was comfy. Shower was great. Loved the hot water, tv worked well. Cant complain. No loud noisy neighbors. Only thing is they couldve left more towels n more coffee n condiments.
This hotel runs a shelter within the facility. I encountered one of the clients throwing a fit, and the security guard did nothing but sit there. Once I get to my room, there is a very strong smell of marijuana smoke roaming throughout the hallway. For a place that states they are non smoking, they must have other requirements for the clients that are housed in the hotel since they are part of the shelter. Since when has that hotel began to lease out their rooms to DHS and allowed clients that are homeless to break hotel rooms and do as they choose? You have people coming to this hotel everyday from all across the world, who are looking for a comfortable hotel, yet my whole night was spent inhaling marijuana smoke, and front desk staff allow it to continue..
So so,,try to stay some place else if you have a choice

dont stay here
Booked hotel based on distance to JFK and price. This hotel is actually a NYC homeless shelter, the place could have been cleaner..... Much cleaner. Yelling and screaming at all hours of the night in the hallway. Parking very limited, and its first come first serve, or its the street! Location is terrible, tourists should not be in this section of the city. I hate to give any one a bad review, It seemed like the hotel was actually a family business. Every employee I spoke to were very pleasant people to deal with, and they did try there best to meet your needs.

Close to airport for the price
Good and comfortable staff is friendly and best part is parking is free for hotel guests being in NY.
I checked in on Wednesday 02/18/16 the front desk staff was rude. Then there was no parking. On Thursday night the fire alarm right outside my door was going off, I called down to the front desk told the desk clerk no one came up to check it the alarm went off all night. People was smoking marijuana and cigarette in the room next to mine. I complaint nothing was done. My pregnant daughter was staying with me. they acted as if it was nothing. The bathroom was not clean not once while we were there. The wall are so thin you can hear the people in the next room having --- if they were in the room with you. The sheets were stain, and housekeeper walked into the room while I was in the bathroom at 9:00 in the morning. I asked for an extra pillow never got it.
It was quite bad. Room was dirty, staff was rude, location sucked. It was quite scary and not good at all. Completey unrecommended stay away!!!

Noisy
Maybe because it was right after the blizzard the amount of noise of ambulances, polices and all kind of emergency trucks was too much to bear, i think it need new windows.
