When you see seriously spectacular landscapes on every TV channel, it's easy to be jelly. So why not spoil yourself with a trip to Oamishirasato-machi and experience the picturesque beaches, coastal plains, forests and mountains of Kanto?

It's located 55 kilometres to the east of Tokyo, the country's capital.

Just 45 kilometres west of Oamishirasato-machi is Urayasu. This place give access to one of the region's biggest drawcards, Disneyland® Tokyo.

Sitting 75 kilometres to the west, Yuigahama is a wonderful place to spend time picnicking on the shore. Shichirigahama is also home to some pleasant views. You'll find this enticing shoreline 80 kilometres to the west.

Are you craving some time out in nature? Hop in the car and take off to Shirako Hot Spring, 9 kilometres away from Oamishirasato-machi. Alternatively, savour a breath of fresh air at Izumi Natural Park, 13 kilometres away.

Take some time out from the distractions of modern technology by spending some time at Showa no Mori.

Get set to experience some exciting baseball action at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, 30 kilometres away. Remember to show your love for home team the Chiba Lotte Marines by dressing in a few pieces of black and white!

You may feel the urge to book a room in Katori-shi for a little while. This destination is 45 kilometres to the north and not too far from Sawara Park, Suwa Shrine and Yasaka Shrine. Other nearby attractions are Katori Jingu and Road Station Mizunosato Sawara.
