With many of the city's top sights nearby, Narita is a wonderland for sightseers. From the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple to Naritasan Park, you won't run out of things to keep you on the go. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to continue on to the Chiba Prefectural Boso no Mura Museum and the Ryukaku-ji Temple. For a better perspective of this city as a whole, spend time in the close-by neighbourhoods of Narita International Airport and Namekawa.
One of the first Tokyo recommendations of your guidebook will no doubt be Tokyo Tower. So what's the delay? This iconic attraction is just 2 kilometres from the centre of the city.
You'll never be deprived of things to do in the city centre. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Tsukiji Fish Market will keep you amused for hours. Yasukuni Shrine and the Tokyo National Museum are also among the area's biggest draw cards.
There's no saying what you're going to find when exploring the eclectic collections of the Naritasan Calligraphy Museum and the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences. If you don't want to miss a thing, see if you can hop on a guided tour.
One of the most appealing things about this place is its nearby green spaces. In the midst of all the action, you won't struggle to find a place to relax and read the newspaper. Sakura-no-Yama Hill, Kuriyama Park and Sanrizuka Sakura no Oka are great options.
The Narita Yokan Museum and the National Museum of Japanese History can give you a glimpse back into the area's past.
Whatever your religious background, it's worth going to Komikado Shrine, the Ryoshoin Namekawa Kannon Temple and the Daijion Temple.

great location for our 1 night stay over. Easy catching the train from airport to Narita then 4 min walk to hotel. Rooms are tiny but served us well. I would opt for a bigger room if I wanted to stay longer.
