Great place at the best location! Just be aware that parking is extra, not a big deal and runs around 20 bucks per day which is not bad given the location. Parking is crazy expensive anywhere beach related. The bed was great and AC cold as a fridge. Highly recommended and priced right. For those commenting on the remodel; the main lobby is almost completed. Not a big deal. Easy to walk anywhere here. Downstairs are a nice Mexican taco and ice cream shop.

Location, location, location. The photos look exact! Hotel is under a bit of construction, rooms and hallways are a bit small but the location makes up for it! The ocean facing rooms are perfect for sunrise, staff was super nice and helpful! Hotel parking ($20/day) 9/10 would def return!

I recently stayed here and I must say, it was an experience I would not wish on anyone. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel is not living up to its advertised standards!!!!!! First and foremost, the staff interactions were far from welcoming. There was an overwhelming sense of indifference from the employees. The front entrance was supposedly under construction, but it appeared that no real work was being done. This gave a very unprofessional and neglected impression right from the start. The rooms were not only outdated but also dirty. To make matters worse, the walls were paper-thin, providing zero privacy. I could hear every conversation from neighboring rooms, which made it impossible to relax. As for amenities, there were virtually none to speak of. The only “perks” were some cheap beach towels and the hotel’s location on the strip, which is hardly enough to justify a stay here. I paid for hotel parking at the hotel’s nearby lot, and upon returning, I found boots on my rental car!!! The attendant explained that hotel Sheldon’s staff must have forgotten to submit it to his log!!! Thankfully, I had my receipt, and he was able to remove the boots and cancel the tow truck. However, when I brought this issue to the attention to the next hotel shift attendant there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Instead, I was told to come back in the morning to speak with a manager, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Disappointing!!!

Hotel was still under renovation so the lobby area was not very usable. Nice size tv in the room. Extremely nice location for walking to food/entertainment. Mattress was a bit uncomfortable and could have used an upgrade with the rest of the renovation of the room. The use of beach chairs for each room was pleasant surprised and we used them every day!

The hotel is currently under renovation so it was a bit of a "pardon our progress" situation. We were only in town for one night so we dealt with it but there was some construction noise and there are materials stacked around the building etc. I'm sure it'll be a beautiful hotel once renovations completed. The staff was super nice and our room was clean.

The lobby was under renovation March 19, 2025 and was completely empty other than a small check-in desk and coffee maker. The room was clean and renovated and had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The location on Hollywood beach was excellent right on the boardwalk and very close to restaraunts and bars. The intercoastal water taxi dock was a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower head was leaking, but front desk said they would rectify the problem. The lobby was under renovation, so there was no bar as advertised. I feel that should have been included in the description on Expedia.
