The sheets on the bed were dirty. And I paid extra for Double queens beds abd were given full size. The microwave door did not open unless you unplugged it. The bathroom was not very clean. I'm so disappointed

This hotel is disgusting and dirty! I saw bedbugs crawling in the shuttle. The hotel roomi is FILTHY .. dust and dirt everywhere and all the lamps and closets were either broken or falling apart. It was cold during my stay and the hotel has NO HEAT so beware for winter months. Shuttle only runs once per hour. This hotel staff is by very young people and seems no management is available. Also looks like people are living in hotel.. looks like low income housing .. NOT WORTH IT!! Stay somewhere else

Overbooked

The hotel was overbooked when I arrived. The lobby was full of people who had no where to stay. Hotels.com has refused to issue me a refund. I had to spend money on an additional Uber and more expensive hotel.

Just bad luck maybe

Check in went went well and I was able to check in later with no problem or having to call ahead of time to let them know. You do have to pay for parking and the parking lot would be very full at times most the staff spoke Spanish and many couldn't speak English. During my stay the water line broke and we were not made aware of this so we found out when we needed to take our shower to leave. When the water did come back it wasn't consistent either. So we lost a vacation day and money until they fixed it. They only wanted to offer me a 30 $ credit to the restaurant that was on site. When it was check out time the cleaning staff came to the room at 10:00 first to get in but check out is 11. Then she came back at 10:40 while my bf was starting to take things to the car. There is only 2 carts for luggage so he waited for the one to bring upstairs . I stayed in the room and use the restroom waiting. A man then knocked on the door and opened it immediately after as I was getting done and closed it back fast .. saying sorry sorry... I didn't even have a chance to say I'm in here ! I have never had that happen before. That was about 11:04am. My bf came in right after him with the cart so we could load the rest of our things. Sad these things happen because the place is in a good location, decent price parking, gym, taxi available, shuttle service for cruises, a little restaurant, on site laundry, and small store.

Unique and Distinctly Terrible

The service was horrible. Called six times to be picked up from the airport and nobody answered. Had to take Uber to hotel. People must be paid by the hour because they were in no hurry to check us in. Shuttle would take you to port for a fee, but would not pick you up from the port. Area smelled like seaweed and diesel fumes. Dresser draw kept opening everytime someone walked by it. Lost television and internet service for the night. Overall I'd rather sleep in a car in the parking lot than stay there again. It is a trap hotel because they know people will use it for a quick stay between boarding their cruise or leaving the next day after returning from the cruise. Stay away.

The room was clean and bed comfortable but the quality of air circulation was poor and there was a stuffy odor. The breakfast buffet was expensive and poor quality. The building was painted but doors were old, stuck, and hard to close. Staff was friendly.
