Dated bad like been neglacted since the 1960s. Stinky room, delapated furniture, no lightbulbs in any of the fixtures, key card doesnt work every day after 4 PM the staff cant figure out how to make it work for 2 or 3 days.Pool is cold and the tile work is falling apart. I could go on just dont go, if a property is double the price it will be worth it!!!!

The Hotel Chateaubleau was full. Our room was in a building across the street. The parking area is extremely tight in the “overflow building”. They offered us street parking. The room was neglected. It smelled strongly of cleaning solution. There were two sets of towels for four people. The wash towel on top had something orange on it (gum?). One hand towel had a long hair tangled in the fiber. There were fungi growing in the bathroom ceiling. The bed sheets were clean but there were some particles that needed removing. I am traveling with my family and nobody wanted to shower. One sink didn’t work. There were not enough outlets for charging our electronic devices. The headboards felt sticky. The curtains were dusty. The AC unit in the wall seemed to be coming off the wall and was very loud. The room felt hot. The staff was not particularly helpful. They seem to be annoyed by my questions and requests (extra towels). We have never left a hotel as fast as we left this place. Breakfast is not included.
Fungi are fascinating organisms! They don’t require light to thrive.

I loved the nostalgia of the place. It needs some maintenance like pressure washing the balconies and more furniture on them. Chairs with tables at least. Shock the pool and get it clean. Sandblasting of the rails on the deck would be great! The staff was great place just needs some maintenance which would not cost that much!

The first room we were given wasn't even cleaned. The second room was made up but still looked dirty everywhere. I went to turn on the light and it didn't work. Neither of the lights did. It smelled like smoke throughout the hotel. I understand that the hotel is old, but it's falling apart. The room rate information on the door is from 2008. Overall it was just really dirty and smells funky.

The first room they gave us was not cleaned. The second room had a foul smell. The top of the counters were all incredibly sticky. We had to ask 5 times to get a towel. The cleaning staff was unresponsive to our request.

The hotel is falling apart, the room was dirty and it smelled musty. Oh, and there was not hot water. The front desk people were nice I guess, they “tried” to fix the hot water and they just showed up and said “it looks this is as warm as it gets” and it was just cold :)

I stay here every time I come to Miami. This time I was in room 237, had a king size bed. The bathroom door was old and looked like it had been chewed up on a along the side, the sink to the left side underneath the cabinet look like it was gonna fall apart from moisture or mold and it was just not what you would think for someone trying to charge $130 a night. There was no coffee pot in the room, but you had little packets of instant coffee. The disgusting kind so I went down to the desk to complain and he said no there’s a coffee pot up there and insisted there was so I took a picture to show him. I ended up just going to the café to buy some coffee before I checked out.
