This was our first trip to Cabo and our first stay at a Secrets all-inclusive resort. It is a lovely property and while it is a little on the older side (we hear there is a planned renovation) is still very comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the spa and the staff is amazing. Dining options are good. We had a great trip and will look forward to more time in Cabo!

First let me say the concierge (Julio), housekeeping and the restaurant waitstaff were excellent and were tipped very well. However I witnessed something that I would hope that will never happen again. During a visit at the (bar with the pool table) a bartenders helper took a plastic container full of dirty glasses flipped the dirty glasses over to be used again. No diswasher or rinsing needed I guess. The fact that she saw the red liquid in them was irrelevant. A real turn off. I was literally turned off from drinking anything from a cup or glass during the rest of our stay. It was reported however not addressed to either my husband or myself. The property was exactly what I expected. Great food, wonderful room, helpful staff, just amazing!! The only bummer was we had a King swim out (room 4112) that had the ONLY tree over it. Our swim out was in the shade, so we had to float in the rooms next door section for sun. I called the front desk and was told the rooms on each side were empty but the last day they were occupied. The tree had an iguana living in it, so we had iguana poo coming from above. This was the only bummer out of the entire trip, so I will take it. The couples massage at the spa was wonderful, we rented cabana beds twice. The beds were amazing, and our waiter was always there getting what we needed or just checking in. We stayed September 2025, and the weather was great. I will report no Grey Goose and no Modelo beer available. In past reviews it was mentioned the property offered Grey Goose vodka, they only offered Absolut as a top shelf option. Advise, notify the hotel directly of your flight arrival. We arrived around noon and check in is at 3pm. We were told we could change clothing and use anything on the property but had to come back at 3pm for our room key. I was told later if we had let the hotel know our flight arrival time we could have checked in early. I'm already looking at dates to go back, maybe stay in the preferred section this time. This resort was worth every penny, and we will be back soon.

The property itself was really nice. At check in it was. A major problem with orbitz. A payment was needed for deposit which a receipt was given showing balance due at check in however this was not the case. The deposit was never sent to Secrets and the full balance was to be paid that day for check in. So inconvenient.

We had a wonderful stay at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos for our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Our room, the grounds, the pools were amazing. The food was delicious, special thanks to Saul at Oceana, Bruno at El Patio & Charlie at Himitsu. Your service was impeccable! Thanks also to Abelardo and Jorge our servers at the infinity pool who kept not only us but all the guests hydrated and fed during our days long hanging poolside. Everywhere we dined we had to wait for at least an hour even when it was considered off season being there. Dining options were limited and not many varieties. Waiter at the pool treated us like minors and was rude when we ordered drinks when we were there for 3 hours and was on our 3rd drink. I been to many resorts before and never had that happened. So disappointed with our stay.

I traveled as a single woman and I felt safe and comfortable. I ate brunch every day and it was off the charts. Fresh, all your favorite traditional brunch items plus an assortment of Mexican cuisine. Posole bar alone deserves 5 stars! I don’t speak Spanish, that wasn’t a problem. The staff was courteous, helpful. They were fun. The area was beautiful. Don’t miss the art walk in town! It’s all inclusive, and they don’t skimp. It was peaceful, quiet. The rooms are gorgeous. I’d recommend& for sure will return!
