This is a 3 star resort. Don’t book here thinking it will be something else. I booked a queen room but was put in a ‘family room’. That is a queen with 2 singles in the one room. Clean sheets. Lots of towels. Small bar fridge. TV only has free to air channels. Walls are thin. Hear movement above, next door and around the room. Pool is ok. Not cleaned on bottom but water was clean. Had a swim. No worries. Located on north side of city. City centre is about 1.2 km away. It’s not a bad walk and if you walk across to the boardwalk and down it is quite scenic. Good coffee at the goose and the quack nearby.

Exceeded our expectations, clean room, great service. Basic needs met, nice pool, bbq, and service. It’s not the Hilton, but has all you need and then some!

Average hotel. Everything was functional, but not especially nice. Except the TV... the sound didn't work. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location wasn't great... clearly the dumpier part of town, about a 20-25 minute walk to the main shops, restaurants and docks. Would probably spend more to stay closer next time.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good location, close to the CBD and Cairns Central. Tidy rooms...There can at times, be car parking issues, but it didn't affect me, as I just walked when I wanted to go into the city... A great value for money place to stay 👌

Its clean, money wise, closed to everything , Few minutes ride to airport, my first stay was. 2011 and its name was Rainbow hotel. Wish they open back there bar now .

Staff were friendly. Rooms were tidy, but by no means clean. Our room was definitely better than our friends room. Kids enjoyed the pool, but honestly we spent as much time out as we could. Their photos are beautiful but a little deceiving. Probably just wasn't worth the money charged.

Over priced!! The grounds are rather a mess and the pile of old mattress's thrown in a parking bay was not a good look. The Housekeepers need to learn how to clean mirrors properly, the one in my room looked like it was cleaned with an oily rag.
