The Blue Lagoon was brilliant, great place got a break from the cold weather down south. Loved easy access to Trinity Beach, cafes, restaurants and beach frontage. Also easy to get buses around which were free most of the time and easy Uber trip to Cairns and the Airport. Went for a trek up the hill behind Trinity Beach and played tennis, swam, went to golf driving range etc. Brilliant little break!

IS NOT 4 STAR! Not 3.5 Star.Uncomfortable,Grubby.

I stayed for 2 nights, in a 1 bedroom apartment, building 2, ground floor, the poolside was a plus. Unfortunately, 1 night was too long. The location was the main reason I booked this property, and the images on the website made it look modern and comfortable. Clearly on arrival I noted those images are taken at an advantageous angle with some obvious photoshop/lightroom thrown in for good measure. The Property is old, unsecure, noisy, office staff are unhelpful and dishonest (when they are around or available) and the room was grubby, disgusting. Rqstd to change Rms. Totally overpriced. This property is a 3 star at best. No reception available (after 1 pm?) on weekends, however you use the emergency intercom near the front door to communicate. The cost was AUD254.00 per night plus taxes. I stayed in the Mantra Aqueous Port Douglas for AUD250 per night the previous 5 nights (same room type) and it was far superior and included room service, and a coffee machine. No Secure Swipe access. No auto-locking door. Mostly self-sufficient accommodation, including the cleaning of the apartment on check-out (rubbish). No coffee machine in the apartment. C'mon, that is 2 star MOTEL rated accommodation. The fixtures, fittings are worn, chipped, scratched, dirty, stained, and mouldy in the shower, painting over the grout doesn't remove or hide black mould. The shower leaking and dripping constantly. Room not sound proofed/Wooden slatted blinds in sleeping area, no block-out blinds.
The state of the door frame between the bedroom and the bathroom. I am only allowed 8 photos. I have about 25-26. Chipped furniture, rusted lamps, broken sliding dividers.

Bathroom. 2 mini-shampoo tubes. 2 mini- lotion tubes. 2 mini bars of soap. After requesting to change room (after first night) not knowing room door did not auto lock on close. I found a dump in my toilet later that night. I was out for 12 hrs.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon very much. The double apartment set up was roomy, clean, well secured and perfect for our family of 5. We were very thankful for the lift to the 4th floor! We would say that the furnishings were a little worn and there were a few holes in the walls to be fixed up, and we could have done with a few more blankets as the duvets/dooners were a bit thin. Overall we had a comfortable stay. The office staff were friendly and helpful, special thanks to Joleen who stayed a little longer in her work day to get us sorted for a snorkel trip the next day. Thanks!

No drawers on bedside tables or shelving elsewhere for packing away clothes and underwear etc. Only hanging space. A luggage rack would have been appreciated. No tissues in unit. Did like view from balcony and easy access to bus and beach. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Easy check in with friendly staff. My room was very clean and neat. The pool/bbq area was tidy and welcoming. My bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows to use. Car parking was available. The property grounds were always tidy. A nice and quiet/relaxing place to stay at with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this resort to anyone. This is my third stay at this establishment and I'm looking forward to staying here the next time I am visiting Trinity Beach.

good value for money, room size was great, but studio room we had has a wardrobe for hanging and that's all. no draws in wardrobe or beside bed. tv on luggage rack leaves no space to open suitcase except bed. no blinds on bathroom window and glass screen to bedroom means room lit up like a light left on every night. but we enjoyed the stay and would return.

There is no allotted parking. It can be a hit or miss. One night we had to street park and walk back to the resort. Staff is not helpful in sorting the parking.
