Appreciated in house washer and dryer. Close proximity to Esplanade, bus lines. In need of renovations. Good heating and a/c. coffee option in room was instant. Hotel will charges for any extra service including local phone calls.

Unhygienic waterlogged bathroom. This place requires a visit for the cairns health department. Also very unsavoury area. Many homeless sleepers in the street. Liquor bottles and cigarette butts and litter around the front and entrance. Would recommend just about ANYWHERE else.

If you're in college, this is it

Nope. Absolutely gross. The 2nd star was because the lady at the front desk was very sweet. Holes in the walls, like from someone punching it, dirty floor, the walls looked like someone threw liquids on them and mold on the lamp (didn't know that was possible). AC worked, bed was comfortable, location was good. I stay at a lot of hotels, usually 2 and 3 star, but this was the only one where I actually checked the mattress for bed bugs.

Pros: clean, very nice staff Cons: shower head was way too low (I am 5.8 and it was coming to my chin, not adjustable, not good for tall people or people with mobility issues), very outdated hotel overall, very thin walls (we woke up at 2am due to the people next door) We would not want to stay here again unfortunately.
