Excellent stay

Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoy more than just the restaurant on site. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. Already referred hotel to my family who have booked their own stay. This will be my only hotel choice for London moving forward!

Hidden Gem

Close proximity to everything. Beautiful large property with lots of space to walk around . This is a hidden gem . This is an older property that used to be a mansion that was built for a rich family in the 1930s. Since then almost every decade has built a new addition. The gym is large and spacious with lots of weights . We really enjoyed the sauna as well .

The staff was great here but the rooms were not as advertised and there were many stains on the wall and ceiling in our room. Some outlets were coming off the wall, drywall cracks, a constant tapping sound in our bathroom ceiling and very worn out furniture. It was fine for a quick stay but did not represent the comments or photos we saw. Again, staff was very friendly and we would have provided feedback at the time but we were in a rush to get to a concert and did not get back to the room until midnight. Just before beware. If you think you're paying for a safe, friendly bed - then this will be great. If you want a well maintained, better then standard hotel, this is not it - at least the room we had. Don't trust the photos but yes, in a pinch and for a quick sleep, it's fine.
